Multiple injuries were reported in the 11 a.m. crash Wednesday on the Garden State Parkway in Middletown Township, according to initial reports.
The crash occurred northbound in the express lanes at mile-marker 112.1.
An unconfirmed report said that at least five people required hospitalization.
More details were not immediately available from the New Jersey State Police.
